The Luminyx NFS-1 is the world's first shadow-eliminating safety glasses with light built directly into the frame — soft, even, circumambient LED illumination inside ANSI Z87.1 impact-rated safety eyewear. LEDs surround the perimeter of each lens, so the light goes exactly where you look and nothing can cast a shadow. Recessed LEDs with an opaque barrier mean zero glare in your eyes.

You'll be charged today, and your NFS-1 will ship when production and safety testing are complete — we're targeting early to spring 2027, and because safety certification can take longer than promised, it could be as late as June 2027. Kickstarter backers receive the first units; pre-orders ship right after.

Certification status

The NFS-1 is engineered to ANSI Z87.1 impact-rated standards. Independent certification testing is in progress and has not yet completed. We publish status changes rather than claim certification early.
